St. Ignatius Center
St. Ignatius of Antioch
Parish
St. Paul, Minnesota
St. Ignatius of Antioch Parish was established in 1989 by Bishop Judd. Upon Bishop Judd's consecration as a Bishop and the opening of Immaculate Heart of Mary
Parish here in St. Paul, the parish begin a specialized ministry and was referred to as St. Ignatius Center.
At St. Ignatius, Bishop Judd and Msgr. Carl Rosen provide spiritual care for the
elderly, and promote interfaith and nondenominational religious instruction and training through courses, seminars, retreats, and guided tours to holy places. Msgr. Rosen
is the chaplain for the Heartland Old Catholic Church.
To learn about the services of
St. Ignatius Center, contact Bishop
Judd.

Church of Saint
Anthony
An Old Catholic
Community
Saint Paul, MN
Msgr. Tony Dinzeo, Pastor
1514 Englewood Avenue
Saint Paul, MN 55104
(campus of Hamline University, collocated with
Hamline United Methodist Church)
Directions
to the Church of Saint Anthony.
Msgr. Tony comes to us by way
of the St. John the Beloved Diocese of Washington,
DC. He was ordained to the priesthood by
Bishop Charles Braun. Because Msgr. Tony lives
in Saint Paul, Bishop Charlie has assigned him to
work in the Holy Cross Diocese of Minnesota.
Msgr. Tony, as a permanent
deacon and more recently as a priest, has served in
parishes for more than 25 years. We all
benefit greatly from his experiences.
Fr. Tony is full of energy and
always on the go. He works closely with Msgr.
Bigelow and Bishop
Judd. Msgr. Tony, we think,
has a special gift and calling. It is not
uncommon for him to conduct three and four funerals
a week. He meets the needs of families before,
during, and after the services. He will serve
his new community with the same dedication and
enthusiasm.

Minnesota
Chaplaincy
of
Msgr. Thomas D. Knopf-Bigelow
Maple Grove, MN
Monsignor Thomas' ministry is
both local and international in scope. Without
a doubt he is the knight-errant of the Heartland Old
Catholic Church.
His work includes providing
investigative support to a group reuniting
Salvadoran families separated by that country's
civil war. He provides financial support for
an orphanage in Vietnam. He also serves as
chaplain to the Ramsey County (Minnesota) Sheriff's
Department.
In this last role, he provides
moral support and counsel to all sworn officers and civilian employees alike. As part of those duties, he assists deputies in death notifications throughout the county and, when necessary, the metro area, be that going to the scene itself, to the family, or both. He also responds to major fire scenes as well as a variety of other emergencies. Monsignor
Thomas is one of nine chaplains serving Ramsey County.
Monsignor Thomas is Pastor Emeritus of
Immaculate Heart of Mary Church (Saint
Paul, MN). He was founder of the Société
des Clercs de St. Jean-Marie Vianney, a
confraternity of chaplains. He served
as the Société's préfet until its
dissolution in 2006 when Heartland affiliated with
an organization with its own
society of chaplains. He also sits on the Board of Directors for both Cornerstone
Old Catholic Church and the Heartland Old Catholic Church. In addition, he is currently the Secretary to the Bishop
of the Holy Cross Diocese of Minnesota, Heartland Old Catholic Church.
His colorful life of service
has been recognized with Ramsey County's
"Chaplain of the Year" award. It is
also captured in his book In The Eye of the Beholder: Five True Stories With a Wink, a Nod, and a
Tear (St. Cloud, MN: North Star Press of St. Cloud,
Inc.), 2004.
