St. Ignatius Center
St. Ignatius of Antioch Parish was established in 1989 by Bishop Judd. Upon Bishop Judd's consecration as a Bishop and the opening of Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish here in St. Paul, the parish began a specialized ministry and was referred to as St. Ignatius Center. At St. Ignatius, Bishop Judd and Msgr. Carl Rosen provide spiritual care for the elderly, and promote interfaith and nondenominational religious instruction and training through courses, seminars, retreats, and guided tours to holy places. Msgr. Rosen is the chaplain for the Holy Cross Diocese. Dom Fidelis until recently was a member of the Order of Port Royal of the United States. Upon his request, he was welcomed as an active member of the diocese. He leads a Communion Service each Sunday morning at the Lodge of White Bear, a large retirement residence. He also will be participating in the liturgies of diocesan parishes. In previous years, Dom has served as both Anglican and Old Catholic clergy. Chaplaincy
of Monsignor Thomas currently serves as chaplain, uncle, and friend of a large segment of the Vietnamese population living the Twin City metropolitan area. He is the supply priest for three parishes and leads the liturgy when someone is ill or on vacation. He is available for baptisms, weddings, and mediator services. See his contact information below. In years past, Monsignor served as the pastor of Immaculate Heart of Mary, one of the first parishes established in the Diocese. For six years he was one of nine chaplains serving the Ramsey County Sheriff’s department.
